CCT12 Rounds 1-5 : Day one Resume PDF Print E-mail

The first day of the 12th CCT tourney came to an end with a lot of exciting games and some arguments. The big news are that Rybka and FireBird have not participated and the event could be richer.

Anyway, after 5 rounds Hiarcs and Sjeng showed their teeth to the rest of the engines are now leading the tourney with 4/5 . It is very interesting to see how tomorrow will the engines handle their lead to the tourney.

One of the most noted events was the disqualification of the Diep engine from Vincent Diepeveen. I had a short talk to the tournament manager of the event and he told me about the incident that :

"First Vincent was forfeited in round 4 for kibitz rulles violations,and due to a venus attack to pretty much everyone he was removed from the rest of the tournament"
